Lady’s Island Planning Forum Rescheduled For Feb 23

LADY’S ISLAND SC, JAN 12 – Due to a medical emergency, one of our keynote speakers cannot travel to Beaufort on Thursday, Jan 12. In light of this, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Designing A Future For Lady’s Island community forum.

The event has been rescheduled for Feb 23, same time, same place.

We wrestled hard with this decision, and decided that the loss of one of the major presenters was too significant. This is an event eagerly awaited by Lady’s Island residents, and we owe it to everyone to make it as powerful and useful as possible. More than 175 had pre-registered for the forum by Tuesday, putting the enthusiasm and demand for citizen engagement on planning matters at an all-time high.

Lady’s Island deserves what was promised: an interactive, educational forum full of opportunity for conversation with land use experts that will help guide the future growth of the community. We and the experts can deliver on this promise in February and we look forward to rescheduling.
