Coastal Conservation League and Sea Island Coalition to Host Lady’s Island Community Forum on January 12 

BEAUFORT, SC – The Coastal Conservation League and Sea Island Corridor Coalition are excited to announce a community forum on rethinking the future of Lady’s Island and the Highway 21 corridor. The public is encouraged to attend to discuss issues related to development, traffic and community preservation.

Who: Victor Dover, FAICP, Dover, Kohl & Partners, author of Port Royal, the Boundary Street plan in Beaufort, the neighborhood of I’On in Mount Pleasant, the “Rethink Folly Road” corridor plan, and co-author of Street Design: The Secret to Great Cities and Towns

Josh Martin, AICP, CNU-A, is Senior Advisor to the Mayor on the Built Environment in the Charleston, South Carolina

The Sea Island Corridor Coalition is a grassroots advocacy organization created to participate and assist in the short, intermediate and long range planning and zoning for the Sea Island Corridor and the lands that surround it.  Our mission is to engage the community and work with government and business to ensure successful and sustainable development that retains the look, feel and livability of the Sea Islands Corridor.
