The City of Beaufort is out to annex 67 properties on Lady’s Island. First reading of the annexation “agreements” was last Tuesday before City Council. A second reading is scheduled for next Tuesday, Jan. 31.
The message to affected businesses along the Sea Island Parkway: “Pay me now, or pay me later. But you will pay.”
