The County – at long last – is toying with the idea of hiring a consultant to guide development of a Master Plan for Lady’s Island. This is not a simple task, and there are many different things to be considered. Critically important is the level of resident involvement. And the Sea Island Coalition told the County’s Northern Plan Implementation Committee on Friday that citizens need to be involved at the beginning of the process, and involved more deeply than having their opinion sought after all key decisions have been made.
